Amiga Games, Inc (AGI) licenses classic video game libraries and republishes the most popular titles for smartphones, modern game consoles, PCs, and tablets. Leveraging the intellectual property of Amiga Inc, AGI builds on the “Amiga” brand and technology to give older gamers favorites from the past, while a new generation of gamers can experience Amiga titles anew.
Active World Club (AWC) secured a partnership with AGI to roll out an NFT, Token and Metaverse launch for all the AGI licensed titles. The Active World Reward Token (AWRT) is slated to be the in-app currency to provide lots of places to play and win within the games. The NFT sales will power the engine to redevelop these games for mobile, updated PC interfaces and Metaverse roll out. AWC’s initial Metaverse development is heavily influenced by the title “The Secret of Monkey Island”, which also inspired the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises thereby potentially increasing the value of both the NFT and Metaverse assets.
The AGI project allows The Club to pair the retro gaming environment with the cutting edge of blockchain development. This provides an excellent opportunity for Club members to buy, spend and earn AWRT going forward. Over the coming weeks Club members will be able to participate in this fun and exciting retro gaming world via NFT’s and gaming tournaments which should drive a lot of activity within The Club. The plan is to list all the AGI NFT’s on AWC’s proprietary NFT exchange. Existing Club members and NFT holders will also be eligible to be whitelisted on our Metaverse expansion.
Gaming tournaments provide both a strong use case for AWRT and offer The Club fantastic marketing opportunities to drive enthusiasm in The Club. As tokens are spent, they may be returned, burned, or put into a charity wallet. Games, NFT’s and Metaverse expansion will also provide significant staking and earning opportunities for the holders of AWRT.
As we expand our Metaverse development across our version of “Monkey Island” we intend to showcase NFT’s and Club assets, like HQxpress, Velocity Auto Concierge, The Recycling Company, and others available for Club members to explore in real time.
